RicardoArévalo Benítez

Ricardo leads T&C's Public and Private Procurement practice, advising public entities and private companies on the structuring, execution and monitoring of procurement processes, regulatory compliance and project finance.

He brings more than ten years of experience across the public and private sectors. He has served as advisor to the Secretary General at the Ministry of Health, been part of the Restrictive Competition Practices team at the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce and the Public Procurement Group at the Superintendency of Public Services. He has led budget-execution monitoring, prepared market studies, tender terms and selection documents for public investment projects. In the private sector, he has partnered with Alpha Mark Capital to develop creative value-added financing solutions for companies and projects.

He is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and holds a Specialization in Competition and Free Trade Law from the same university. He also holds a Master's degree in International Law, a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Finance from Universidad de los Andes.
